Spicy Prawn Recipes

Ingredients :
  • 500g fresh prawns (shelled, deveined and wash in salt water)
  • 2 tomatoes cut in wedges
  • 2 large onions cut in slices
  • 4 pips garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chilli powder
  • Tamrind Juice (1 teaspoon tamarind mixed with 4 tablespoons water)
  • 1/2 cup thick coconut milk
  • 4 tabnlespoons cooking oil
  • Salt to taste

Methods :

  • Heat cooking oil in the saucepan and fry the garlic and onions for 3minutes over medium flame
  • Add in chilli powder
  • Add in tamarind juice and tomatoes
  • Fry till forms on the surface
  • Add in the prawns, thick coconut milk and salt to taste
  • Bring to boil over low flame
  • Continue cook for about 8 minutes
  • Remove from fire and read to be serve
